THE COMPETITION
The "Brahms Vienna International Choir Competition" is special. It is a true life time experience. Winning is great, participating means to win respect and recognition and taking advantage of a very unique opportunity to present one´s choir and to conduct, where the world´s greatest artists are applauded. The singular beauty and great acoustic of the Brahms Saal inspire artists.
The competition is open to mixed choirs of at lease 16 singers and for women choirs. The competition days are June 25 and June 26, 2007.
Each choir sings twice before the jury. The competition schedule is:
Monday 10:00 am - 01:00 pm and 03:00 pm - 07:00 pm Tuesday 10:00 am - 01:00 pm and 03:00 pm - 06:00 pm
Choirs can warm up in one of the other halls of the "Musikverein" as assigned by the competition staff.
