Afterwards welcome dinner at the "Schweizer Haus" Sunday, June 24 2007 Brahms Landmarks and Vienna Highlights See the Memorial Room at the Haydn Haus and Brahms´grave at the Central Cementary, where Schubert and Beethoven are burried nearby and tour Schönbrunn Palace after driving along the famous "Ring" Lunch on your own, free time for rehearsal and individual sightseeing 07:00 Dinner at the "Griechenbeisl", where Brahms and Mark Twain and other dignitaries dinned. See Brahm´s signature at the ceiling of the Mark Twain Room. Monday, June 25 2007 Competition in the Brahms Hall of the Musikverein. Placement will be announced in advance. Lunch at typical Viennese restaurant Dinner on your own and time to attend an opera or concert Tuesday, June 26 2007 Continuation of competition Lunch at "your" restaurant 06:00 Concert of the finalists at the Brahms Saal and announcement of the winners Farewell dinner in the garden of the Beethoven Haus, where he composed parts of the 9th symphony Wednesday, June 27 2007 Departure after breakfast.
